Hong island is a small island paradise with translucent emerald waters. Hong island has only a small visitors center for the National Marine Park rangers, and the tour boats must anchor away from the swimming beach - Pelay Beach .
Hong island has shallow coral reefs and powder fine sandy beaches. Here you snorkel or sun-bathe. Visitors can kayak to the large natural lagoon on the backside of Hong Island. The Hong Island lagoon is encased in tall limestone cliffs and shrouded in peace and tranquility.
The other islands of the Krabi Bay 5 Island Group are: Laga (Saga) Island, Lao Riem Island, Pakbia Island and Lao Lading Island. These limestone cliff islands have great mini bays for snorkeling, diving, swimming, and kayaking.
Ko Hong (Koh Hong) means "Room Island"
